    Join The Tattie Harvest

    Planting tatties earlier this year

Regular Greener Leith volunteers will recall that earlier in the summer we had a great day in Persevere Community Garden, planting loads of tatties and putting up bat boxes made out of recycled wood. Well, it's time to take the tatties back out of the ground. So, if you fancy grabbing a spade why not come and join local residents on our next day in the garden?

The Tattie Harvest will happen from 12noon on Saturday the 11th of October. Please do come and join in.

There are rumours that a hearty soup will be made on the day from local tatties, together with more exotic veggies that people have grown in the garden this summer - including Kohlrabi, no less. Greener Leith also plans to buy some more fruit bushes that will need to be planted in our patch. There is always work to be done in the garden!

You can find the Persevere Community Garden here.
