Greener Leith is calling on everyone to change the way they travel for the better by making a We Love Leith pledge.

Greener Leith is working to inspire everyone to make Greener Travel choices. Traveling on foot, cycling, and using public transport are better ways to get around. On an individual level, walking and cycling helps to keep us healthy and happy. On a neighbourhood level avoiding car use helps to improve the air quality in Leith and on a global level, green travel helps to reduce the risk of climate change.

Best of all, Green Travel is often cheap travel too!

Obviously, there are times when people have to use cars. But have you thought about using the City Car Club? - It's great for people who only need a car every now and again - and don't forget that you can get a discount on the membership fee by joining Greener Leith.

Greener Leith campaigns to improve the off-road cycle network, as well as working to make sure that greener travel options are considered during planning and regeneration projects.
